How You Can Use Keytlaw.com to Make Moneyby Richard Keyt First published September 2006, revised March 2007 If you are an attorney, I want convince you why you should publish your legal article on the www.keytlaw.com website. Since I started my solo law practice August 1, 2001, I have added over 2,000 new clients, my revenue is at a career high, and I get more phone calls and email messages each day from people who want to hire me than I can handle. I bought a $4,200 phone system just to help me deal with the large volume of phone calls. I owe my recent success to hard work and to my website, which is an incredible marketing tool. Keytlaw.com generates a ton of business for me, but it can also generate a ton of business for you. I want you to publish one or more articles on keytlaw.com because if your article (it's really an advertisement for you) generates money for you, I want to charge you a monthly ad fee. It does not cost you anything to publish an article. You pay me only if your article becomes top ranked by Google. If your top ranked article does not produce sufficient revenue to justify the monthly ad fee, you may cancel your month to month ad contract and we will delete your article. The numbers in the following table reflect facts about my solo practice of law in Arizona and about business generated by my website. I am giving you the information because I want you to have some specific examples of how I make money in my sole practice from articles I wrote and published on keytlaw.com.
I created www.keytlaw.com the winter of 2001. Before I had the grand opening of my website, I got an email from a man who saw my work in progress. The man said he was impressed with an article I wrote and wanted to hire me. I printed the email message and showed it to the managing director of the large Arizona law firm in which I was a shareholder. My boss was not impressed. He said the firm's website generated few clients and cost a lot of money. I knew then that I could not have my own law oriented website as long as I was employed by that firm. My former boss' reaction is typical of 99% of all lawyers. Few lawyers know that the internet can be a great source of business. Most lawyers would never think about advertising on the internet because they are not good at marketing in general and rarely spend money on marketing other than meals and entertainment type marketing. I tell my lawyer friends about my website and the business it generates, but almost none of them has ever seen it. They are just not interested in the internet, especially as a way to generate business for their law practices. Most internet marketing does not work and is a waste of money. Writing law related articles and publishing them on keytlaw.com generates a lot of new business for me every day. It can do the same for you. Try it and see what happens. All you may lose is the time it takes to write an article. If you have a law related article you wrote in the past on a subject that involves an area of your practice for which you want to attract more clients, just update the article and submit it to us for publication on keytlaw.com. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
